Voices From Care

We are Wales’ national independent organisation who are dedicated to upholding the rights and welfare of children and young people who are or have been looked after.

Membership

Any young person who is or has been in care in Wales can be actively involved with Voices From Care through our membership service.

Advice and Support

Our Advice and Support team provide advice, assistance and advocacy on any issue that is of concern to children and young people looked after or care leavers.

Membership Committee

Our Membership Committee is made up of young people who are currently in care and care leavers. The Group feeds the views and experiences of young people in care into our organisation and to our Board of Trustees.

About Us

We bring young people together throughout Wales, who are, or have been looked after. We aim to provide opportunities, to improve the conditions of being in care, to promote the view of young people and to protect the interests of young people in care.

Membership

Any young person, who is or has been looked after in Wales, is welcome to become a member of Voices From Care. As a member you can be as actively involved as you like. We aim to make sure that young people are heard by the decision makers in Wales.

Advice & Support

We provide an Advice and Support service for young people who are or have been looked after in Wales. This is generally individual support given by our Advice and Support team on a wide range of problems that can effect young people who have been in care.

Berlin Adventure

Hi Everyone:

As many of you know from my previous blog, I am young person who left care just over a year ago. Some people think that when you're in care you don't get many opportunities travel, go on holiday or experience different cultures. Happily, I was one of three young people who had the chance to take part in a work placement in Berlin where i learnt about their culture and how they live day to day.
